Fursuit DIY Tail Tutorial with Instructions

Whether you are a furry wanting to make their first fursuit tail, a cosplayer wanting to make a wolf tail, or a therian wanting to make a tail for their theriotype, anyone with any level of skill can make a tail with this pattern! <3

This is a pattern version of Furbellion's relaxed canine tail! After purchasing, you will immediately receive a pdf of instructions, as well as 2 options for printing your pattern - an A4 version and a Letter version. The tail is a small canine and will be roughly ~14 inches across!

(Includes 2 PDF Instructions A4 version and Letter version, and 2 PDF Patterns A4 version and Letter version. Patterns are included in Instruction PDFs as well.)

The difficulty level for this tail is 2 stars out of 5 stars. This pattern is made for the beginner maker! The instructions are thorough and explain every step in detail, so those who have never made a tail can construct this one!

Equipment you will need:
Sewing Needles or Sewing Machine
Thread
Scissors/Knife (DO NOT use a knife or boxcutter if you are under 18, or unless you have parental supervision and consent. We are not responsible for injury or harm.)
Pins/clips
Markers/pencils
Slicker brush
Clear tape
*Optional* Hot glue gun & Glue sticks (ONLY use a low-temp hot glue gun, and only use one if you are comfortable doing so. We are not responsible for injury or harm.)

Materials you will need:
Faux fur or another tail material (1/2 a yard at most 1/4 at least)
Fleece or another base material (Sample size at least 8"x8")
Elastic or strapping for belt loops (one roll)
Stuffing
*Optional* Foam (at least 8"x8")
*Optional* squeaker
